-deep breath- This is a late random turned Christmas turned birthday gift for the lovely TheLastHuzzah of his boy, Ben <3

The "scratching part" of this work was finished on May 2016, at that point this was just a random gift for Max because I loved Benji's design and wanted to draw him ever since I first saw him. But then I wanted to try out colouring a scratchboard piece, so I started looking up methods of doing that, and ended up settling with using Derwent Inktense pencils for it. Started saving up for the pencils, bought them, gave it a try, hated the first result. Decided to wait it out a bit, and totally forgot to isolate the piece with fixative at the time, when I went back to it some months later, the colour was mostly gone Go me, I'm a genius.
Only came back to it recently to finish up all of the colouring again, and I'm finally happy with the result. 10/10 will try again, I love it.
And this time I didn't forget the fixative

Decided to wait for a while to upload it for Max's birthday instead, since this had already been in the works for so long, I could wait a little longer to upload it on a special occasion. So here he is!
