:star::star:Info to my contest here [link] Please take some time to read it!:star::star:

So, I actually had a great time in the South on Sunday. I hadn't been there for 3 years and it's great to see a beautiful place like that not changing a bit since then(unlike the North where my uncles/cousins live, probably one of the reasons why I hate going there more and more, everything's becoming so superficial and fake there).
Went for a walk, since I couldn't take my bike, saw a wild rabbit and butterfly let itself get caught by me. I held her on my hand and she just starred at me for a while before taking flight and flying around me before disappearing. Ah, it feels almost magical to be there and makes me hate this stupid city life even more.
One day I'll live in an isolated place, only surrounded by Nature, that's my dream.

On another note, while we were traveling, there was this song that I had already listened so many times and loved playing in the radio, but never knew its name or artist. Today I searched a bit of the lyrics and it turned out being "Overcome" by Live. While searching I stumbled across many videos of September 11th made with that song playing along. I watched some and couldn't help but crying.

There's been like, almost 7 years? I still remember that day like if it happened today. Though I'm not American, I cried for the lives of those people who lost them in a supposed to be normal day at work. I prayed for their souls and for the souls of the brave brave BRAVE people that went there trying to save those lives.
I cannot imagine how the families of those people must have felt and it shocked me to see people throwing themselves off the windows. How desperate must you be to do something like that?(damn I'm starting to cry again)
I have a question, which none of you really has to answer, especially for my American friends/watchers, how did you feel when you saw that?
I was 10 years old by then and I remember that I was watching TV, thinking of what I wanted for my b-day that was coming in 9 days and then the program I was watching stopped and I heard the news, it was one of the most traumatizing things I ever saw when it comes to humanity. I just stayed there trying to figure out what was happening and it didn't take me too long to do so. And the first thing I thought of were the families of those people and that no human being has the right to take the life of others like that, especially innocent people.
And now everything comes down to the war in Iraq, don't even get me started...
I hadn't thought about this for quite a long time and seeing those videos was like living it all over again. The planes crashing against the towers, people jumping, people running in fear, the buildings on fire, the terror they must have felt, the people on those planes, those who suffered of heart attacks right there in the middle of the streets... It's devastating. There's just too much evil in this world...

This is getting long so I'll stop here.

My computer's been having problems with some virus that blocks my computer whenever the antivirus tries to remove it, even in Internet there's evil..

Well, see you around! If I don't show up, blame it on that stupid virus(or the bunch of tests I'm having).

I  you guys!

I'm canadian, but when it happened I was in grade 6, only 11 years old. I didn't know what the world trade centre was, but our teacher came out crying and such and told us, and we were just pretty much confused, as we didn't get the gravity of the situation. then I saw videos of the buildings going down and all the people jumping out, and it was just sickening.

God, it was aweful. I was in fourth grade, and my teacher canceled the lesson for that day so that we could watch the news. Although I was in fourth grade, I knew what had happened and why it had happened. My entire class was crying.
My mother had lived just a couple of blocks away from there, and so when we went to NYC when I was in 5th grade, we went to ground zero. It was such a horrible disaster.
I remember not talking the whole day, and probably for the rest of the week. It was aweful.

I was in middle school when it happened and all my teachers where turning the tv to watch the devastating news, I didn't know what was happening at first, but as time when by many teachers were just saying things like " they have hit the heart of America and we're lost", it scared me and many other students as well. When I got home I got the chance to watch what was happening and it was worse than terrible. So many lives lost that day, soo many innocent people, it just makes me mad and think what you think, how much evil in this world.
Your dream is my dream, to live in an isolated place, not near the city and have my animals and my horses:love: I hope it comes true one day:heart:

You know I just think of it this way, if I was so devastated and am not american, american people were probably scared, confused, heart broken. I sure would be scared if something like that happened in my country. I think the whole world lives in fear now because of that(I know portuguese people have become paranoid after that).
I hope so too

We say we love flowers, yet we pluck them. We say we love trees, yet we cut them down. And people still wonder why some are afraid when told they are loved. ~Author Unknown

I don't know how I'd feel if something like that happened in my country, I still cannot understand how people can be so cold to do such a thing.

Same here, I was just too confused at first, but then I saw the images and it was awful.

I have no idea either. I just dont understand WHY they did it. I mean, if they hadnt done it, we probably wouldnt be in this stupid war right now, and we wouldnt have lost so many people.
